Posted 1 Aug 2023

We are thrilled to announce that Consensus GmbH with the International Mediation Campus has achieved certification with the prestigious Singapore International Mediation Institute (SIMI). As a SIMI Registered Training Program (SIMI RTP), we take immense pride in providing exceptional training programs. Upon successfully completing our training, participants will be able to become SIMI Accredited Mediators.

SIMI is the leading independent professional standards body for mediation in Singapore and across the region. Established on 15th July 2014 as a non-profit organization, SIMI has received unwavering support from the Ministry of Law and the National University of Singapore. Headed by an international Board of Directors comprising mediation practitioners and corporate users of mediation, SIMI works closely with the International Mediation Institute (IMI). This non-profit public interest initiative strives to uphold transparency and high competency standards in mediation practice worldwide.

This achievement underscores our commitment to excellence and dedication to fostering mediation expertise in the industry. Consensus GmbH, with the International Mediation Campus, is better equipped to deliver high-quality mediation services and uphold the highest professional standards by being a part of the SIMI network.

Mediation is a voluntary process in which a neutral third party, the mediator, helps two or more people communicate and negotiate to reach a mutually agreeable resolution of a dispute. Mediation is often used to resolve family law disputes, such as divorce and child custody, but it can also be used to resolve other types of disputes, such as business disputes and employment disputes.
