I was initially doubtful of using an online platform for a mediator training as I was not sure how we could practice the taught skills throughout the course in this manner. However, this was not the case at all, IMC’s international training worked so well!

I can’t think of one day where there wasn’t a direct clash with between IMC’s training sessions and my university classes. At the end, I skipped my university classes and instead joined the training sessions every single time because I learned so much more at IMC!

Theoretical issues will be discussed in the universities! It’s time to work on soft skills that you can’t find in the books. Learning and gaining those skills will affect your career path as a lawyer or legal expert. Besides, you’ll be in touch with professionals all around the world.

Trends in Jamaica moved to include pre-trial & online mediation with nuanced standards of practice. IMC’s response is its international online training, live online & self-paced courses. From the perspective of a student, my takeaway was, within this course, that it is not enough for you to study books alone. You have to do real practical sessions and the practices that we had in this training during these three months were really, really helpful for me.
