Jean-Christophe (also known as “JC”) Barth-Coullaré is the Executive Director of the World Association of PPP Units & Professionals (WAPPP), based in international Geneva. WAPPP is a global network with currently 50 PPP Units & over 430 public-private partnership professionals that promotes #NextLevelPPPs. We build bridges for climate-resilient infrastructure PPPs and a more efficient implementation of the UN 2030 agenda for sustainable development. The aim is to be the leading voice of the PPP industry because effective public-private collaboration can move mountains.

JC is an accomplished international mediator and the owner of HASE Solutions, a boutique specialized in Deal Mediation. He is passionate about Dispute Avoidance, Effective Dispute Resolution and Shadow Negotiation and brings two decades of experience in Banking, Legal Affairs and Project Management on complex infrastructure contracts to the negotiation table. He regularly mediates and judges commercial mediation competitions such as with ICC Paris, CDRC Vienna, MCB Sri Lanka and the like.

JC is a founding member of APIA Swiss for independent directors and has co-authored a guide on “early stage governance – an effective lever for the development of start-ups” with the European Champions Alliance. He teaches Governance and Negotiation skills to intra- and entrepreneurs in academic institutions and industry associations.

Recently he joined the Advisory Board of ESG Exchange.
