As a Peace Fellow I always wanted to develop a skill that was aligned with my field .12 weeks mediation training helped me achieve that goal and I also made new connections all around the world. I was initially doubtful of using an online platform for a mediator training as I was not sure how we could practice the taught skills throughout the course in this manner. However, this was not the case at all, IMC’s international training worked so well!

I really enjoyed being part of an international class with teachers/trainers from different national backgrounds. This was inspiring for me as whilst I don’t know where I want to live in the future, I now have an international network and know that I can practice mediation anywhere in the world.

From the perspective of a student, my takeaway was, within this course, that it is not enough for you to study books alone. You have to do real practical sessions and the practices that we had in this training during these three months were really, really helpful for me.
