Certified online mediation training

Mediation, taught by people who practise it.

Our international mediation training is 40 hours of live online sessions across a ten-week schedule (or a one-week intensive), covering mediation, negotiation and the wider field of Alternative Dispute Resolution.

It meets international standards and is certified by the International Mediation Institute (IMI) and the International School of Management (ISM), with accreditation from the Singapore International Mediation Institute (SIMI).

You graduate ready to mediate in general disputes — and onto a clear pathway toward family, commercial and cross-border specialisation.

Fair pricing. Every seat is offered at a country-adjusted rate so the course costs roughly the same share of a local monthly income everywhere we teach. No hidden fees, VAT included. How it works

How fair pricing works

1
Detected by country

We use your country (not income) so pricing stays predictable and you can change it any time from the chip on the right.

2
Indexed to purchasing power

We benchmark each tier against the World Bank PPP index so a seat costs a similar share of a local monthly income everywhere.

Frequently Asked Questions

Here you’ll find answers to the most common questions.
If anything is still unclear, feel free to contact us.

What certificate will I receive after completing the training?

Participants receive a certificate from IM Campus upon completion of 40 hours of live online mediation training. After submitting a one-hour onsite mediation simulation and a written reflection, participants are eligible to register with the International Mediation Institute (IMI) and the Singapore International Mediation Institute (SIMI). Upon completion of an additional 60-hour self-study course, participants are awarded a university certificate from the International School of Management. In addition to these academic and international qualifications and titles, formal recognition of mediation training is regulated differently in each country and must be clarified with the relevant local authorities. Regardless of formal recognition, the training provides in-depth knowledge of mediation and conflict resolution and enables participants to apply these skills effectively in their professional and private contexts after completion.

Why do participants from different countries pay different prices?

We believe where you're from shouldn't determine whether you can access quality mediation training. Our Fair Price System adjusts course fees to reflect each country's economy, so everyone pays an equal price, even if that's not the same number.

What are the main focus areas of the mediation training?

The IMC trainers have different professional backgrounds, focuses and nationalities. An interdisciplinarity from law, communication science, psychology, economics, peace studies etc. makes sure to consider different aspects of mediation. The trainers work in different countries and fields of mediation: business mediation, family mediation, peace mediation, international mediation, intercultural mediation but also coaching and team mediation.

What are the requirements for the mediation training?

Prerequisites for participation in mediation training area good level of English language, an academic education or professional experience.

What is the online live training set-up?

The IMC team provides a virtual room. Participants and trainers receive a link in order to access the sessions. To create a group atmosphere, camera and sound on is required. For mediation simulations and group work, trainers will divide the group into break out sessions. You will need internet access and a browser device. We work with the online video platform zoom.

What happens if I miss a live session?

In order to receive the IMC certificate, you will need to complete 80% of the live sessions. If you are not able to attend this amount of live sessions, you will have the opportunity to repeat the missing trainings within our next course.

What is the advantage of the online format of our mediation training?

Online mediation is a growing global field, and this course puts you at the forefront of it. You'll develop specialist expertise in international online mediation, along with the skills to mediate effectively in person too.

What opportunities will you have after completing the program?

You will be part of an international and intercultural alumni network – providing a platform to exchange experiences and work together as co-mediators. You will be able to deal with conflicts and be prepared for a career as an executive and resolve conflicts constructively. You will be qualified to offer (online) mediation and negotiation according to the rules in your country.

Is it possible to learn and apply mediation skills online at all?

From our experience, online live training provides you with skills and knowledge you need to conduct a mediation. In online live simulations body language and other non verbal communication can be read and taken into account. However, online and offline settings are not the same. In order to experience face-to-face simulations, we encourage our participants to meet with peers locally.

What is IMI Certification

Our mediation training is approved by the IMI. After the successful completion of the training, you are an IM Campus certified international mediator and eligible to become IMI qualified. After the training, you can be listed on the IM Campus and IMI homepage as a mediator. You will be:

  • International recognised
  • Quality proved
  • Part of international network.

This course is part of the CONSENSUS Campus Program. CONSENSUS Campus is recognised as meeting the quality criteria set out by the International Mediation Institute (https://imimediation.org/program/consensus-campus/). CONSENSUS Campus has been granted dispensation by the IMI to deliver its existing approved training online during the covid crisis.
