Bio
Fidana Alieva is a mediation and negotiation practitioner in commercial, employment, workplace, family business and other disputes. She has been working as a dispute resolution professional for more than ten years now (since 2012), mediating, negotiating and arbitrating regionally and internationally. As a dispute resolution professional, she participated in over 200 disputes, including quite complex cases with international organizations’ participation, multi-party disputes and online mediation.
Qualification
In 2022, Fidana joined the ADB (Asian Development Bank) panel of workplace mediators. Fidana is a regional mediator for the Compliance Advisor Ombudsman of the World Bank Group. In 2018, she became the first fellow from the Kyrgyz Republic awarded the Weinstein JAMS International Mediation. In 2014, Fidana established the Centre for Mediation and Negotiation in the capital city of the Kyrgyz Republic, one of the first mediation centres in her home country. She is an international mediation trainer for the “IM-CAMPUS” (Germany).
She acted as a judge and assessor for many international mediation and negotiation competitions, including the ICC annual International Commercial Mediation Competition, the World’s First-ever International Investor-State Mediation Competition and others.
