We all negotiate every day of our lives, in an attempt to resolve conflicts large and small. This hands-on “master class,” based on the book “Negotiating at the United Nations” (Routledge, 2019) will empower participants to forge successful negotiated outcomes to any conflict.
Through simulation exercises and interactive discussions, you will learn to apply principled, interest-based negotiation techniques to any situation; you will learn how to manage counterparts and stakeholders, build common ground, and balance power disparities. You will hone the leadership, communication, and contextual skills essential for conflict resolution.
This course will distill the essence of an effective negotiator and demonstrate how every participant in a negotiation can foster a legitimate process and create good outcomes for all involved
The course has a duration of 6 hours. And is conducted in two parts of 3 hours each. You will receive an IM Campus Certification.
