Bio

Rabih S. Sfeir is a Lebanese qualified attorney at law and an international certified mediator with a comprehensive background in civil law. Rabih's legal journey began in 2005 when he graduated with distinction from Université Saint Joseph -Lebanon (USJ) with a bachelor’s degree in law (LLB). In 2006, he furthered his studies by earning his postgraduate advanced Studies in Civil Law focused on Banking and Financial Markets “Diplôme d'Études Approfondies”(DEA) from USJ-Lebanon.

The following year, he was admitted to the Beirut Bar Association, marking the start of his career as an attorney at law. As a civil lawyer- litigator, Rabih has extensive experience in construction, real estate and properties disputes, negotiating agreements and settling numerous complex civil cases.

Recognizing the evolving landscape of legal practice and the growing importance of alternative dispute resolution, Rabih has increasingly focused on mediation over the last 10 years. In 2021, he established his own law and mediation office, positioning himself as a key player in both fields. As well as having many years of practical experience in the fields of Mediation and Negotiation, he is a qualified mediator and holds certification from the ”Centre Professionnel de Médiation” part of USJ Lebanon (recognised by many European Institutions), and the International Mediation Campus, of which he is also an alumni, an IMI-accredited Institution.

In June 2024, Rabih was appointed to the roster of international mediators of the Compliance Advisor Ombudsman (CAO) of the World Bank Group. Rabih is part of several associations that promote the culture of Mediation such as The Mediation Hub-MENA, International Mediation Council (IMC-France). Rabih has also published several articles on mediation in Lebanon, across Europe (France, Germany) and in the MENA region.

Rabih speaks and conducts training in English, French and Arabic.
