Claudia Caluori is an ADR believer from Italy, with international experience, who has been engaged in dispute resolution programs for several years.
She has worked as legal consultant since 2010 in the field of international business development, and she is of-Counsel of the international professional firm Eptalex.
She is an accredited mediator in Italy, Lebanon and France, and IMI-qualified. Claudia is also an alumna of Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand, where she participated as a Rotary Peace Fellow in a professional program in peace building and conflict resolution.
She collaborates with several mediation providers in Italy, and regularly organizes seminars with specific focus on mediation and its integration in transnational commercial disputes, technology and intercultural aspects of conflict resolution. Claudia rides a Kawasaki Er6n, loves hiking and live music, and is passionate about non-violent communication.
ODR requires mediators, regardless of age and experience, to equip themselves with different and additional skills: IT, technological, troubleshooting, other than the communication and negotiation techniques already acquired during basic training. Do we need anything else to conduct online sessions successfully? If so, what is it? Preparation is a key element when conducting meetings with parties (and their lawyers) online, and also a learn-by-doing approach is paramount, in order to get the best out of every session, for the parties at dispute and for ourselves as mediators.
