Feedback on the international online mediation training for participants from Nigeria in 2021

In Spring 2021 the International Mediator Campus conducted an international online mediation training in Nigeria. Thanks to all the participants! It was an enriching, interesting and exciting course, supervised by one of your Nigerian Trainers Dr. Adeyemi Agbelusi. We are thrilled to see the mediation careers of our newly trained mediators progress!

The International Mediator Campus conducted an online training for conflict resolution and mediation, with the aim to

  • Enable people to solve conflicts and initiate dialogue in different areas of their professional, private lives and social environment.
  • Expand global access to international training and education.
  • Imparts important skills and competences that will be needed in the future.

This programme trained people, who act in different spheres depending on their field of activity.

It was aimed at people in key positions in their countries. These can be judges, peace workers, school leaders and teachers, project coordinators, lawyers, decision-makers, business leaders and all those who contribute to establishing a positive conflict culture in their environment.

I was initially doubtful of using an online platform for a mediator training as I was not sure how we could practice the taught skills throughout the course in this manner. However, this was not the case at all, IMC’s international training worked so well!

I can’t think of one day where there wasn’t a direct clash with between IMC’s training sessions and my university classes. At the end, I skipped my university classes and instead joined the training sessions every single time because I learned so much more at IMC!
