IMI Certification for online mediation training

In August 2020, IM Campus received our mediation program recognised as an IMI (International Mediation Institute) Certified Mediator Training Program.

The IMI is a non-profit initiative driving transparency and standards in mediation, worldwide. With the Vision of Professional Mediation Worldwide: Promoting Consensus and Access to Justice, the IMI sets and achieve high mediation standards, convene stakeholders and parties, promote understanding and adoption of mediation, and disseminate skills for parties, counsel, and mediators.

When the corona crisis started, we were forced to change our on-site training to an – back then fairly new – online format. The IMI published special guidelines for this unusual time giving our participants the chance to still receive their IMI qualification even though on-site training was not possible.

After our experience with online mediation training nationally and internationally, we were thrilled by the benefits and opportunities of this new, more diverse and sustainable way of teaching and connecting.

We were very happy when the IMI published new guidelines for only online training even when on-site training was possible again.

Now, we are proud to announce that our international online mediation training is IMI certified based on the new IMI rules for only online training published after the corona situation had changed training formats.

We have been given full approval, and individuals who successfully complete our online Certified Mediator Training Program will be eligible for recognition as IMI Qualified Mediators.

This is a big step into an innovative, international and sustainable and global world.
